Temperatures were expected to drop Thursday, especially along the coastal plain, while strong easterly winds were forecast to continue in the northern hills, with possible haze.
Little change is expected Friday, though drizzle to light local rain could develop toward evening. The rain is expected to gradually strengthen overnight across most parts of the country.
On Saturday, temperatures are forecast to rise sharply to above seasonal norms, even as local rain is expected in much of the country. Strong winds and hazy conditions are also forecast.
By Sunday, temperatures are expected to fall noticeably and humidity is forecast to rise, with local rain expected in northern and central Israel.
