Israel will face another day of unusually hot weather Friday, with dry conditions in the mountains and inland areas and muggy weather along the coastal plain. Heat loads are expected to intensify further and will range from heavy to extreme across most parts of the country.
Temperatures will fall slightly Saturday, bringing some relief, although heavy to extreme heat loads are still expected in most areas. A further slight drop is forecast for Sunday, when temperatures are expected to return to seasonal norms and heat stress will ease again. On Monday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly and remain somewhat above average for the season.
