Weather forecast: rain in northern Israel, snow on Mount Hermon, cooler weekend ahead

Temperatures will remain near seasonal norms Wednesday before dipping slightly Friday, with stronger winds overnight and showers spreading from the north to central Israel before easing into the weekend

Temperatures across Israel will be seasonable Wednesday under partly cloudy skies, with light, localized rain expected in the north during the day.
After midnight, winds are forecast to strengthen, with intermittent rain developing mainly in northern Israel and along the coastal plain.

On Thursday, temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged. Periodic rain will fall in the north and central regions, with a chance of light local showers in the northern Negev. Snow is expected on Mount Hermon. Westerly winds will be brisk, and skies will range from partly to mostly cloudy. Rain in central Israel is expected to gradually taper off from the afternoon.
A slight drop in temperatures is forecast for Friday, with readings slightly below seasonal averages. Skies will be partly cloudy, and light drizzle to localized showers may continue in central Israel until around midday.
On Saturday, temperatures will remain slightly below normal for the season, with partly cloudy conditions.
