As 2.6 million students return to school across Israel on Tuesday, the weather is expected to be pleasant during the morning, with temperatures rising slightly before heat stress increases later in the day.
Temperatures are expected to climb further Wednesday before cooler weather arrives Thursday. A slight additional drop is forecast for Friday, when temperatures in the mountains and inland areas are expected to return to seasonal averages and heat stress will ease.
