Israel will see gradually rising temperatures through the holiday weekend, with hotter-than-usual and even scorching conditions in the north and center

On Monday, the eve of Rosh Hashanah, temperatures will climb again in the mountains and inland. The weather will remain hot to scorching in the north and center, with eastern winds blowing in the northern mountains during the morning. By Tuesday, another increase is expected, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms.
Forecasted highs and lows for Saturday and overnight include 16–31°C in Jerusalem, 22–31°C in Tel Aviv, 23–31°C in Haifa, 18–30°C in Safed, 20–34°C in Katzrin, 22–37°C in Tiberias, 21–33°C in Nazareth, 20–36°C in Afula, 21–38°C in Beit She’an, 20–32°C in Lod, 22–30°C in Ashdod, 23–34°C in Ein Gedi, 20–31°C in Beersheba, 17–28°C in Mitzpe Ramon, and 25–36°C in Eilat.
