Israel weather forecast: As autumn arrives early, here’s what to expect this Sukkot

After a slight drop in temperatures Sunday, Israel can expect mild, breezy weather for the holiday with possible rain midweek

Temperatures across Israel will fall slightly Sunday as partly cloudy to mostly clear skies will prevail, the Israel Meteorological Service said.
Strong northern winds are expected in the afternoon, mainly along the coastal plain and in the Negev region. Overnight, skies are forecast to remain partly cloudy.

On Monday, the eve of the Sukkot holiday, temperatures will dip a bit further, reaching seasonal averages. The heat stress is expected to ease, with partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions continuing. Another small temperature drop is forecast for Tuesday, especially in the mountains and inland regions.
By Wednesday afternoon, local rain showers are expected, with possible rainfall reaching the coastal plain later in the evening. Skies will remain partly cloudy during the day.
