Temperatures rise across Israel after cold spell

Friday brings clear to partly cloudy skies and seasonal temperatures, with a warmer weekend ahead and heavier heat stress expected in eastern Israel by Sunday

Weather across Israel on Friday was forecast to be clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures rising further after several cold days, especially in the mountains and inland areas, and returning to seasonal averages.
Brisk northerly winds were expected along the coast in the afternoon.

Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with high-altitude cloud cover. Temperatures will rise slightly again and be a little above normal for the season.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly again, becoming warmer than usual in the mountains and inland areas. Heat stress is also expected to increase in eastern Israel.
On Monday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly, though they will remain a little above seasonal averages.
