Rain remains possible across Israel on Friday, with the heaviest showers expected in the north during the first half of the day. Over the past two days, 10 mm of rain were recorded in Buq’ata in the northern Golan Heights and 7 mm at Nahal Me’arot in the Carmel region.
Significant rainfall is possible in the Western and Upper Galilee and along the Carmel coast, with local rain also expected across the coastal plain. Around 10 to 20 mm could fall in those areas during the morning hours. Thunderstorms are possible in the north, while the south could see light drizzle.
Temperatures will rise slightly in central and southern Israel but remain somewhat below seasonal averages. On Saturday, light rain or drizzle may continue through midday, mainly in the north, before temperatures rise to normal for the season. The warming trend will continue Sunday, followed by a slight drop on Monday. The Israel Meteorological Service said rain could return Tuesday, this time mainly in the south.
