Temperatures will rise slightly Tuesday in Israel’s mountainous and inland regions, climbing above seasonal averages and bringing a noticeable increase in the heat load.
A further slight rise is expected Wednesday, with the heat becoming more intense. No significant change is forecast for Thursday, while Friday is expected to bring a slight drop in temperatures and some relief from the heat.
Tuesday’s forecast highs and overnight lows are: Jerusalem 32°C and 21°C; Tel Aviv 31°C and 22°C; Haifa 30°C and 22°C; Safed 33°C and 20°C; Katzrin 36°C and 20°C; Tiberias 37°C and 22°C; Nazareth 35°C and 21°C; Afula 35°C and 20°C; Beit She’an 39°C and 24°C; Lod 32°C and 21°C; Ashdod 31°C and 21°C; Ein Gedi 38°C and 28°C; Beersheba 35°C and 18°C; Mitzpe Ramon 35°C and 23°C; and Eilat 42°C and 30°C.
