The weather will be mostly clear Wednesday. Temperatures will dip slightly, mainly in the mountains and inland areas, but conditions will remain hotter than usual and dry in those regions, with humid weather along the coastal plain. Heavy to extreme heat stress will persist across most of the country.
Extreme heat stress is expected in several areas, including the southern Golan Heights, the northern valleys, the Shfela, the Dead Sea region and the Arava. Heavy heat stress is forecast along the coastal plain. The maximum UV index is expected to be very high to extreme. The Mediterranean Sea will be wavy, with waves of 50 to 80 centimeters.

A further slight drop in temperatures is expected Thursday, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Temperatures will still be slightly above average, with humid conditions along the coast. Heavy to extreme heat stress will continue in most parts of the country.
Friday will be partly cloudy, with another slight drop in temperatures, bringing them back to seasonal averages. Some easing of the heat stress is also expected, and drizzle or local rain, mostly light, is possible in northern and central Israel. Saturday will be partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures. Local rain is possible in the afternoon, mainly in eastern Israel.
