Flash floods may develop from the afternoon in the Judean Desert, the Dead Sea area and eastern streams. Rain will ease toward evening, though local showers may continue overnight in the northeast, including the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy, with little change in temperatures and a chance of drizzle or light local rain in northern Israel and along the coast in the morning.
Temperatures will rise slightly Wednesday, mainly in the mountains, the Jordan Valley and inland areas. Another slight rise is expected Thursday, bringing temperatures back to seasonal norms.
