Galilee man suspected of poisoning neighbor’s dogs over land dispute

Suspect caught on CCTV near where three dogs were found dead, alongside meat believed to be laced with poison; police call it a cruel act tied to a personal dispute and vow to bring those responsible to justice

A resident of the Galilee is facing indictment after allegedly poisoning and killing three of his neighbor’s dogs amid a land dispute. The suspect was captured on security cameras near the area where the animals were found dead.

Police were called to the scene earlier this month, launching an investigation. Officers discovered a piece of meat believed to have been laced with poison.
Investigators also found that the dogs' owner had been involved in a dispute with a relative who may have been responsible for the poisoning.

"This is a serious case of intentional harm to animals, a cruel act amid a personal dispute," Israel Police said in a statement. "Police regard such attempts gravely and will act decisively to bring those responsible to justice."
