Rain returns as temperatures drop across Israel

Partly cloudy skies Sunday as cooler air settles in; showers and isolated thunderstorms expected in north Monday, spreading south to the Negev through midweek

Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping significantly and returning to seasonal averages. Light, scattered rain is expected in northern Israel, continuing into the night.
On Monday, temperatures are forecast to fall slightly further. Intermittent rain is expected in the north, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Localized showers are also forecast in central Israel and are expected to intensify overnight, extending from the north to the Negev desert.

Tuesday is expected to be partly cloudy to overcast, with local rain forecast from northern Israel to the Negev. Temperatures will drop slightly again, mainly in central and southern parts of the country. Similar conditions are expected Wednesday.
