Israel will remain hotter than usual on Tuesday, with dry conditions in the mountains and inland areas and muggy weather along the coastal plain, according to the forecast.
Skies will be mostly clear, while heavy to extreme heat stress is expected to persist across most of the country. Overnight, conditions will be clear to partly cloudy.

A gradual change is expected beginning Wednesday, when temperatures will fall slightly, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Despite the decline, those regions will remain hotter and drier than usual, while humid conditions will continue along the coast. Heavy to extreme heat stress will also persist across much of the country. The gradual cooling trend will continue Thursday.
More noticeable relief is expected Friday, with another slight drop in temperatures bringing them back to seasonal averages. Heat stress will also ease, while drizzle or local rain, mostly light, may develop in northern and central Israel.
