A drop in temperatures and scattered rain were forecast across northern and central Israel on Thursday, with showers expected to taper off by the afternoon. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy throughout the day, with the possibility of light drizzle along the coastal plain overnight.
Rain began falling early Thursday morning along Israel’s western coastline, from the Western Galilee through Mount Carmel, the Sharon region and into the central coastal plain.

While some brief downpours were recorded, rainfall totals remained modest, averaging about 5 millimeters (0.2 inches). Precipitation is expected to continue in the coastal and lowland regions into the early afternoon before gradually weakening.
Friday will bring a slight rise in temperatures, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, though light drizzle may linger along the coast in the morning. A further slight increase in temperatures is expected on Saturday, with no significant change forecast for Sunday.
