Rainy weather is expected today (Wednesday). Local showers will fall from northern Israel to the northern Negev, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. There is a risk of flash flooding in streams in the Judean Desert, the Dead Sea region and the northern Arava.
Rain will gradually weaken from the afternoon, and temperatures will be below the seasonal average. Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy to clear. Light drizzle to scattered showers are possible in the north and along the coastal plain.
On Thursday, light local rain is expected mainly in northern Israel, while temperatures will rise in the center and south.
Friday will be similar, with continued cloudiness and a further increase in temperatures.
On Saturday, skies will be partly cloudy, with light local rain expected in the north. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
