Temperatures will remain above the seasonal average Monday in the mountains and inland areas, but a significant rise is expected Tuesday, with hot and dry conditions setting in and heavier heat loads felt across most of the country.
A marked drop in temperatures is forecast Wednesday, bringing conditions back to seasonal norms in most areas. Another significant increase is expected Thursday, with temperatures rising to above-average levels and hot, dry weather returning.
