Weather forecast: slight warming Thursday before rain, storms and flood risk over weekend

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Thursday, mainly in the mountains and inland areas of Israel. During the morning hours, light drizzle to scattered local rain may occur in the central parts of the country.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly again. However, on Saturday, they are forecast to drop, with scattered rain expected in northern and central Israel.

During the night, the rain may spread southward toward the Negev and thunderstorms are possible. There is also a minor risk of flash floods in streams in the Judean Desert, near the Dead Sea and in the northern Negev.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to fall slightly again and remain cooler than usual for the season. Rainfall will gradually weaken during the day, though a minor risk of flash floods will remain in the morning hours in streams in the Judean Desert and northern Negev.
