Temperatures are expected to rise sharply on Sunday, with dry heat prevailing across most of the country and increased heat stress in many areas. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy with high cloud cover. Winds will strengthen during the day and there is a possibility of dust haze in southern Israel. The sea will be calm to choppy, with waves of 30 to 70 cm.
On Monday, skies will be partly cloudy with high clouds and heat stress will ease gradually. Temperatures will drop mainly along the coast and in the Shephelah, but it will remain warmer than seasonal averages in most regions.
Tuesday will be clear to partly cloudy with a slight further drop in temperatures, which are expected to return to seasonal norms.
On Wednesday, skies will be partly cloudy with another temperature drop. Conditions will become cooler than average for the season and there is a chance of drizzle to light local rain in northern Israel.
