Israel is experiencing slightly warmer and drier weather than usual for the season on Wednesday, with mostly clear skies across the country.
According to the Israel Meteorological Service, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, and conditions will be hotter and drier than average. Northerly winds are forecast to strengthen along the coast in the afternoon. Moderate heat stress is expected in the Kinneret Valley, the Jordan Valley and the Arava. Overnight, skies will be clear to partly cloudy.
Little change is expected Thursday. On Friday, temperatures are forecast to drop, mainly along the coastal plain and in the lowlands, though they will remain slightly above seasonal norms. The weekend will bring another slight cooling trend, with temperatures returning to average levels for late October.
