Forecast: morning showers, then warmer-than-usual temperatures

Light rain will linger into early afternoon, mainly in northern and central Israel. Temperatures dip but stay above seasonal norms. Tuesday warms with possible drizzle on the coast, then stronger easterly winds Wednesday and more warming Thursday

Today (Monday) will be partly cloudy with local rain through the early afternoon hours. Most of the showers will be light and focused in northern and central Israel. Later, the rain will stop. Temperatures will drop slightly, but will still be a bit higher than usual for the season. Sea conditions will be moderate to high, with waves of 80 to 140 centimeters.

On Tuesday, drizzle is possible along the coastal plain. Temperatures will rise a little, and morning drizzle may continue along the coast.
On Wednesday, another increase in temperatures is expected. Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy at high altitude. During the morning, brisk easterly winds will blow in the northern and central mountains.
On Thursday, temperatures will climb again and remain above seasonal norms. Strong easterly winds will blow in the morning, and in the north and central mountains, lively easterly winds will continue through the day, especially in the northern highlands.
