Weather today, Sunday, will be clear, with temperatures dropping back to seasonal norms. Heavy heat is expected along the Dead Sea shore, with moderate heat in the southern Golan, northern valleys, Sea of Galilee basin, Jordan Valley and Arava. The maximum UV index forecast for today is very high to extreme.
Temperatures will rise slightly Monday, a trend expected to continue Tuesday and Wednesday, when they will be slightly above seasonal averages, mainly in the mountains and inland areas.
