Forecast: Rain in northern Israel, thunderstorms possible on Simchat Torah

The weather Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with local rain mainly in northern Israel and temperatures below seasonal averages. Overnight, partly cloudy conditions will continue, with local rain expected mainly in the north.
On Thursday, local rain is possible in the north and along the coastal plain, mostly light. Temperatures will remain below normal for the season.

On Friday, the eve of Simchat Torah, local rain is again expected in the north, where isolated thunderstorms are possible. Drizzle to light local rain may fall in the southern Negev, while temperatures will rise slightly in central and southern Israel.
Saturday will be partly cloudy. Local rain is expected in the north, with a further rise in temperatures.
