The forecast ultraviolet radiation index will be very high to extreme, while heavy to extreme heat stress is expected in many areas. The Mediterranean Sea will be wavy, with waves ranging from 50 to 90 centimeters.

After the morning clouds clear on Wednesday, skies will become sunny and temperatures will rise slightly again, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, where conditions will be hotter and drier than usual. The coastal plain will become humid, and heat stress will intensify further.
