Rain spreads south as snow falls on Mount Hermon

After intermittent overnight rainfall in northern Israel, showers are expected to spread southward Thursday into central parts of the country, with a chance of light local rain in the northern Negev.
Snow fell on Mount Hermon, and brisk winds are forecast across most regions. Hazy conditions are possible in the south.

On Friday, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with light drizzle or isolated showers possible through midday, mainly in central Israel and the Negev. Temperatures are expected to dip slightly and remain somewhat below seasonal averages.
Partly to mostly cloudy conditions are expected to continue Saturday, with a chance of light drizzle in northern and central Israel. Temperatures will remain slightly below normal for this time of year.
On Sunday, skies will be partly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures, though they are still expected to remain somewhat below average.
