Today’s (Wednesday) weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight increase in temperatures, particularly in the north, where conditions will be somewhat hotter than usual for this time of year.
Extreme heat stress is expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea region, the Arava, and the Sea of Galilee basin. Heavy heat stress is forecast in the southern Golan Heights and its slopes, northern valleys, Lower Galilee, and the Judean Desert and eastern Negev. Moderate heat stress is expected in the northern Golan Heights, western Galilee, the Carmel and Menashe Heights, the coastal plain, the Shephelah, the central highlands, the northern Negev, and the Negev Highlands.
