Temperatures will rise again Sunday, with hotter-than-usual conditions for the season, reaching heatwave levels in some areas. The weather will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with high-altitude clouds and possible haze. Sunday night will be partly cloudy to clear.
Monday will see a significant drop in temperatures, especially in central Israel. Skies will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy, but winds will pick up and haze is expected. By nightfall, intermittent rain and isolated thunderstorms will begin in the north and central regions.
Tuesday morning may bring more isolated thunderstorms and another dip in temperatures, which will return to seasonal norms. Rain will continue throughout the day in the north and center, with light local showers expected in northern Negev. Strong winds will blow in most areas. Rain is forecast to weaken and taper off toward evening.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy with no significant temperature changes.
