Temperatures will dip slightly Tuesday and again Wednesday, but most regions will still face heavy to extreme heat before conditions return to seasonal norms Thursday

Temperatures will fall slightly, mainly in the mountains and inland areas, but will remain higher than usual for the season. Conditions will stay humid along the coastal plain.

There will be some relief from the heat, although heavy to extreme heat loads are still expected across most parts of the country.

A further slight drop in temperatures is expected Wednesday, mainly in the mountains and inland. Temperatures will remain somewhat above seasonal averages, while humid conditions will persist along the coast.

Temperatures will fall slightly again Thursday and return to seasonal norms, accompanied by a further easing of the heat.
Friday will be partly cloudy to clear, with no significant change in temperatures. Conditions are expected to remain seasonally normal across most of the country.
