Weather forecast: rising temperatures followed by cooler, windy conditions

A slight rise in temperatures is expected today, with above-average heat across most of Israel by Saturday, before cooler conditions return Sunday, bringing possible local rain in the north and haze in the south

Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, mainly in the hills and inland areas, bringing them to seasonal averages.
No significant change is expected Friday. On Saturday, temperatures will rise markedly and be higher than usual for the season across most of the country.

On Sunday, temperatures will drop sharply and fall below seasonal norms. Strong winds are expected, with local rain forecast in northern Israel and possible haze in the south. Snow may fall on Mount Hermon starting in the evening.
