In response to the renewed missile fire from Iran, the National Health Operations Center was opened. Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov instructed all hospitals to follow Home Front Command guidelines and prepare to move operations to protected underground facilities. Schools nationwide have also been canceled on Monday.
What Is happening at the hospitals?
Clalit Health Services hospitals have begun preparations to move into underground facilities and protected areas in accordance with official directives. Clalit clinics will operate on a limited basis from protected facilities. Clalit Complementary Medicine and Aesthetics clinics will remain closed. Clalit Smile dental clinics will operate subject to Home Front Command instructions, and patients are advised to check availability before arriving.
Clalit's online family medicine and pediatric services will operate around the clock. The organization is also preparing to receive patients discharged from hospitals and transfer them to home hospitalization programs. Clalit's mental health support hotline is available 24/7 at *8703, while its nursing hotline operates around the clock at *2700.
Maccabi Healthcare Services will operate in accordance with Home Front Command and Health Ministry guidelines at facilities equipped with approved protected spaces. Members with appointments scheduled for Monday are asked to verify whether appointments will take place through Maccabi's website, mobile app or the *3555 hotline, all of which are updated in real time.
A telephone support center for stress, anxiety, tension and sleep difficulties is currently operating. The service is staffed by social workers and provides emotional support and coping tools through the Maccabi hotline (*3555, extension 2).
A wide range of medical examinations can also be conducted 24/7 using the Tyto device and video consultations with family physicians and pediatricians. The service is intended for non-complex medical conditions such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear pain, rashes and insect bites, and is available for both children and adults. Additional services and information are available through Maccabi's digital channels and the *3555 hotline.
Meuhedet will operate only clinics with approved protective infrastructure on Monday. Remote healthcare services have been expanded, including a hybrid emergency care service available through the app, website or telephone hotline (*3833, extension 1), a pediatric care hotline, a pregnancy and childbirth hotline (extension 4) and a medical hotline for adults aged 18 and over. Meuhedet's urgent care centers will continue operating as usual nationwide. Patients are advised to check the website, app or *3833 hotline before visiting a clinic.
Meuhedet is also operating a 24/7 mental health support hotline staffed by social workers and psychologists through *3833 (extension 1). A dedicated hotline for people aged 75 and older is available at 076-8134343.
Assuta Haifa Hospital announced the cancellation of all elective surgeries scheduled for Monday. Patients will receive individual notifications. Appointments at Assuta's medical center in Acre, including MRI examinations, have also been canceled.
