"When someone is called to come to the clinic it's not a good sign, I told her on the phone with a cracking voice, 'Iris, what is it, do I have cancer?'" The doctor confirmed her concerns.
The 29-year-old influencer's personal post drew a lot of attention from her followers.
"I discovered it at an early stage, thank God, I was told I needed a thyroidectomy and it would all be behind me with God's help, and then I started the process. I was scheduled for surgery yesterday. The tumor wasn't small, but as you all know - nothing is too big for me to overcome."

Bespalov went on to share that she discovered her cancer at an early stage thanks to one of her followers on Instagram. "A girl who sent me a message said that it looked like I had a lump and that I should check it out," she said.
"I immediately had it checked and the ultrasound showed it was a cyst. Then, I had a biopsy done, and it was confirmed as cancer."

She said that it was apparently a side effect of pregnancy, and concluded her post by calling on all women to get tested.
"I can't explain how important it is. Go get checked, it could happen at any age," she wrote.
