The description of the world's creation in six days is the biblical story Israelis like the most, according to a Ynet poll. Thousands of readers voted in the survey in recent days.
The story of Creation narrowly won over the story of Joseph and his brothers, which came in at second place despite leading for most of the contest. The story of the Exodus from Egypt finished in third place.

Meanwhile, Ynet, in conjunction with the Gesher organization, undertook a special phone survey that shows most Israelis believe that the stories of the Bible happened in reality.
A total of 53% of respondents said the Bible describes real events experienced by the Jewish people, 32% said it did not matter whether the stories were real because regardless they can be used as a behavioral code, and 13% said the stories were mere folklore unrelated to reality.
