Liam Neeson, the actor who starred in the Oscar-winning Stephen Spielberg movie "Schindler's List", visited the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin on Monday, near the city's famous Brandenburg Gate. Neeson took his sons Michael and Danie along with him.
"Schindler's List" presents the true story of Oskar Schindler (played by Neeson), a member of the Nazi party who saved the lives of more than 1,100 Jews during the Holocaust.
The actor was on a break from shooting his new film, "Unknown White Male", which tells the story of a man who awakens from a coma and discovers that someone has taken his identity.
According to the Mail Online, Neeson was first seen walking solemnly across the memorial. It was designed by Peter Eisenman and unveiled in 2005. It consists of 2,711 concrete slabs that are arranged in a pattern across 19,000 square meters.
Neeson will be appearing in a number of films that are due for release this year, including "The A-Team", co-starring Bradley Cooper, and "Clash of the Titans".
