Police in Boise say they are investigating what is being described as a hate crime after finding graffiti at the Chabad Jewish Center of Idaho in the city.
Lt. Kent Lipple says the graffiti found on Saturday morning contained the message "Zionism (equals) Racism."
Lipple tells the Idaho Statesman that he characterizes the graffiti as a hate crime because it's specific to religion.
Lipple says that type of graffiti is unusual in Boise and he hopes it's an isolated incident.
No estimate was given on how much it will cost to remove the graffiti.
