Shalicar, an official of the Ministry of Intelligence, in the outgoing Israeli government, said this disturbance proves that there is anti-Semitism in Germany and in the BDS movement.
These people who interrupted my book event, are not interested in dialogue. I would have answered any of their questions. These are radical BDS activists who support terror in the way they de-legitimize Israel. The audience could see what radical left anti-Semitism looks like.
Shalicar's new book, called "The New German anti-Semitism, Do Jews today belong to Germany"
In a separate incident, Students at a University in California, in Los Angeles interrupted a gathering of Israelis and Kurds shouting slogans calling for a free Palestine.
