British man identified after antisemitic tirade against Jewish children at Paris airport

Five months after a verbal assault on two Jewish boys at Charles de Gaulle Airport, online sleuths tracked a suspect via social media; children’s parents are calling for Franco-British cooperation to bring him to justice

A social media account that tracks alleged antisemitic incidents has identified a British man reportedly involved in a verbal attack on two young Jewish boys at Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport in June.
The account SwordOfSalomon on X, which posts about antisemitic incidents, published new details this week about the June 25 encounter in Terminal 2B, where the man is accused of berating the children verbally while they played at a PlayStation kiosk as they waited for an El Al flight to Israel with their family.

In video of the incident, posted later with the hashtag #freepalestine, the man, described as in his early 30s and speaking with a British accent, is seen confronting a 7‑year‑old boy wearing a kippah. He allegedly told the child, “Bro, if you don't free [Palestine], I'll snatch your hat,” then ripped the controller out of the boy’s hand and, speaking in broken French, called him a “pig” and taunted him to “dance, pig.”
The children’s parents, who were nearby with their other children after a sleepless night, intervened and stopped the encounter. The family, part of a French Jewish household that made aliyah to Israel the day after a ceasefire ended the 12‑day war between Israel and Iran, did not publicly release the video at the time.
The footage was first shared on Friday, Dec. 19, five months after the incident, explaining its reemergence online.

In its update, SwordOfSalomon said the man is a British citizen believed to be active on TikTok under the handle saint._17 and likely from the Hackney neighborhood in east London, accounting for his accent. The post said the boys’ parents now have “identifiable details for filing a complaint: a face and a social media account.”
The account urged French authorities, including the National Police and the interior ministry, to cooperate with British counterparts through established international legal assistance channels to identify and prosecute the suspect. Because the incident occurred on French soil, primary responsibility for the investigation lies with Paris, but the newly shared information may help advance the case.
