The organization has already claimed responsibility for similar attacks against Jewish sites in Europe, including incidents at synagogues in Liege, Belgium, and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. It also claimed responsibility for an attack in Greece, though it did not provide details.
In both the Liege and Rotterdam incidents, the group released videos online claiming responsibility for the attacks.
Dutch authorities are investigating the explosion and the organization behind it. No further details about suspects or arrests were immediately available.
