Home prices slip again: what apartments sold for across Israel

Recent housing data and transactions reveal wide gaps between peripheral cities and central Israel, as CBS index shows a 1.3% annual decline

The Central Bureau of Statistics housing price index, published last month and including both new and second-hand apartments, fell in March-April by 0.3% compared with the previous two months of February-March. This represents an annual decline of 1.3%.
To shed light on the current housing market, we reviewed nationwide brokerage networks to examine which second-hand transactions were carried out last week and what prices were paid.

A three-room apartment on Shim'on Bar Giora Street in Neighborhood D, 56 square meters, ground floor out of three, sold for 660,000 shekels (around $178,000).
A four-room apartment on Derech Hameshahrerim Street in Neighborhood B, 76 square meters, fourth floor out of four, sold for 820,000 shekels (around $222,000).
A five-room apartment on HaMuchtar Street near the Rambam Park, 154 square meters, sixth floor of 14 with a 14 square meter balcony, elevator, parking and a safe room (mamad), sold for 1.7 million shekels (about $459,000).
A garden apartment with five rooms on Nahal Mishmar Street in the HaPark neighborhood, 130 square meters, ground floor out of five with an 85 square meter garden, elevator, parking and a safe room, sold for 2.02 million shekels (around $546,000).
Ashdod
A four-room apartment on Nahal Lachish Street in Yud-Alef District, 116 square meters, first floor of nine with an elevator, parking and a mamad, sold for 2.06 million shekels (about $557,000).

A six-room duplex on Tel Hai Street in District Tet-Vav, 174 square meters, seventh floor of eight with a 12 square meter balcony, elevator, parking and a safe room, sold for 2.95 million shekels (about $797,000).

A three-room apartment on Ha-Rav David Nadav Street, 64 square meters, first floor of four, sold for 1.5 million shekels (around $405,000).
A three-room apartment on Yermiyahu Street, 80 square meters, fifth floor of eight with a 12 square meter balcony, parking and storage, sold for 2.2 million shekels (around $595,000).
A five-room apartment on HaKerem Street, 125 square meters, second floor of seven with a 12 square meter balcony, parking and storage, sold for 3.6 million shekels (about $973,000).

A single-story private home with 5.5 rooms on Netiv HaLamed-Heh Street, 167 square meters, with parking and storage, sold for 4.75 million shekels (around $1.28 million).
A five-room penthouse on Baruch Spinoza Street, 154 square meters, seventh floor of seven with an 82 square meter balcony, parking and storage, sold for 5.9 million shekels (about $1.60 million).

A three-room apartment on Alfa'el Street in the Shagiyah B neighborhood, 70 square meters, third floor of four, sold for 1.2275 million shekels (about $332,000).

A five-room villa on Ha'Perach Begani, 285 square meters on a one-dunam lot, with parking and a safe room, sold for 2.8 million shekels (around $757,000).
