The apartment price indices published by Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) show a continued decline in prices in recent months. With the help of national real estate agencies, we looked up which second‑hand market deals were made in the past week and what the costs were.
Jerusalem
A 2‑room apartment on Betzalel Street in the city center, with an area of 58 sq m on the ground floor (of 4 floors), plus a 16 sq m balcony, sold for 1.85 million shekels ($565,000).
A 4‑room apartment on Warburg Street in Kiryat Yovel, 75 sq m on the 6th floor (out of 8) with elevator, sold for 2.19 million shekels ($670,000)
A 4‑room apartment on Shach’al Street in the Givat Mordechai neighborhood, 104 sq m on the 7th floor (of 11), with a 13 sq m balcony, elevator and parking, sold for 3.59 million shekels ($ 1,095,000).
Mevasseret Zion
A 4‑room apartment on Harel Street, 104 sq m on the 1st floor (of 4), with a 12 sq m balcony, elevator and parking, sold for 4.5 million shekels ($ 1,370,000).
Rehovot
A 3.5‑room apartment on Ezra Street, 96 sq m on the 2nd floor (of 6) with elevator, sold for 1.73 million shekels ($525,000).
Holon
A 4‑room apartment on Herzog Street, 93 sq m on the 5th floor (of 8) with elevator and parking, sold for 1.85 million shekels ($565,000).
