Israel’s annual housing price index, published by the Central Bureau of Statistics about two weeks ago, fell 2%, the sharpest decline in eight years. The Consumer Price Index for June was unchanged, bringing annual inflation down to 1.6%.
To shed light on the current state of the housing market, we reviewed secondhand transactions completed over the past week with the help of nationwide real estate brokerage networks, examining which properties were sold and at what prices.
