The deal followed lengthy negotiations between the clubs. Inter’s improved offer stands at 23 million euros ($25 million), plus future bonuses, after a previous bid of 20 million euros ($21.7 million) was rejected by the Belgian club.
Khalaili has already reached an agreement with Inter over his personal terms. According to earlier media reports, he is set to sign a five-year contract worth 1.8 million euros ($2 million) per season.
The move caps a standout 2025/26 season for Khalaili at Union Saint-Gilloise, where he developed from an attacking winger into a more versatile wide player capable of operating also as a right back.
