The Brooklyn Nets announced Monday evening that they have assigned Danny Wolf to their G League affiliate. Wolf will join Long Island’s training camp, which opens this week ahead of the season’s start on Nov. 8.
Wolf had been sidelined by injury and missed the team’s first four games. The forward, selected 27th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Nets, also played in the Summer League. He was one of college basketball’s standout players last season, averaging 14.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for Michigan.
Another rookie sent to the G League is Drake Powell, who appeared in one game and scored two points. Brooklyn can recall Wolf to the main roster at any time.
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets’ difficult season start continued as they fell again, losing 137–109 on the road to the Houston Rockets in their fourth straight defeat.
Israeli guard Ben Saraf started and logged 6 points and 5 assists. He hit two of five three-point attempts and 2-of-8 overall, adding a rebound and a steal but also committing two turnovers in 25 minutes of play. The team stayed competitive in the first half but collapsed in the second, allowing the Rockets to pull away decisively.
Houston’s Tari Eason scored 22 points off the bench, Alperen Şengün added 21 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists, and Kevin Durant contributed 19 points. On Brooklyn’s side, Terance Mann had 21 and Michael Porter Jr. scored 18.
