Real estate developers Donitz-Elad and Ofer Investments, the companies behind the flagship Park HaKerem project in Jerusalem, have become the main sponsors of the Hapoel Lev Jerusalem women’s basketball team for the 2025-26 season.
Under the agreement, the team will receive 230,000 shekels (about $60,000) in sponsorship funding and will compete under its new name, Hapoel Lev Park HaKerem Jerusalem.
The partnership reflects the developers’ stated commitment to advancing women, community, and urban values in Jerusalem. It continues the companies’ broader social vision, which seeks to combine high-quality real estate development with meaningful community engagement.
Park HaKerem, currently under construction in the heart of the Beit HaKerem neighborhood, will include hundreds of housing units along with commercial, educational, and leisure spaces, designed to balance modern living with a vibrant and connected community.
Ronen Jaffa, CEO of Donitz-Elad, said the sponsorship “is a social and ethical statement — an investment in community, excellence, and women’s advancement in Jerusalem. The team represents determination, achievement, and community involvement — values that mirror our own path in development and city-building.”
Netta Abugov, chair of Hapoel Lev Jerusalem, called the partnership “a natural fit with developers who believe in the city and its people. The support from Donitz-Elad and Ofer Investments strengthens us both professionally and ethically and allows us to continue growing, leading, and making quality women’s sports accessible to every girl in Jerusalem.”
