The game, part of Round 23 of the EuroLeague and scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, will take place in the same arena in Sofia where Hapoel Tel Aviv had played its home games before the league approved a return to Israel.
Hapoel Tel Aviv currently tops the EuroLeague standings with an impressive 12–5 record, while the Turkish team is in 15th place at 6–11.
EuroLeague also announced that Hapoel Jerusalem’s EuroCup Round 15 game against Bahcesehir, scheduled for January 1, will also be played outside of Israel, at the sports hall Ranko Zeravica in Belgrade, Serbia.
