The Israel Premier Tech cycling team, which has faced protests at several races this season from pro-Palestinian demonstrators, will rebrand as the NSN Cycling Team and undergo a structural overhaul, the team announced Thursday.
"The international sports and entertainment company NSN (Never Say Never) and Stoneweg, a global investment platform based in Geneva Switzerland, have entered into a joint venture in professional road cycling to take over the WorldTour and Development team structure ahead of the 2026 season," according to a press release.

The team will be registered in Switzerland, with its operations based in Barcelona and Girona, Spain. One of NSN’s co-founders is former FC Barcelona star and Spanish international Andrés Iniesta.
NSN Cycling Team replaces Israel Premier Tech, whose presence in the professional peloton has been repeatedly challenged by pro-Palestinian protests this season—most notably during the Vuelta a España—amid the war in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier this month, Canadian co-title sponsor Premier Tech withdrew its support with immediate effect, calling continued sponsorship “untenable.”
“Although we took notice of the team’s decision to change its name for the 2026 season, the core reason for Premier Tech to sponsor the team has been overshadowed to a point where it has become untenable for us to continue as a sponsor,” the company said in a statement.
The decision followed a prior announcement from Israel Premier Tech that it would rebrand and move away from its “current Israeli identity.” Team owner Sylvan Adams, an Israeli-Canadian billionaire, also announced he would step back and no longer speak on the team's behalf.
“We are proud to welcome NSN and Stoneweg to the team and announce our new name and identity: NSN Cycling Team,” said team general manager Kjell Carlström, according to the statement. "This is an incredibly exciting new chapter for the team, and we can’t wait to make our debut as NSN Cycling Team."
The team will hold a training camp next week, and its new kit and race schedule are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
