Cybersecurity firm Semperis has introduced Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management, a new platform designed to help organizations recover quickly from identity-related cyberattacks and resume normal operations. The system combines Semperis’ core technologies: Active Directory Forest Recovery (ADFR), Disaster Recovery for Entra Tenant (DRET), and Identity Forensics and Incident Response (IFIR), with its enterprise crisis management tool, Ready1. The integrated platform is available at no additional cost for eligible customers.
“Semperis is unique in addressing the full spectrum of identity resilience before, during, and after an incident,” said Alex Weinert, the company’s chief product officer. “During an identity outage, communication becomes one of the biggest challenges. Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management gives organizations the tools to coordinate teams, communicate securely, and recover identity infrastructure faster, helping them return to business sooner.”
Ready1 provides a command-and-control console for managing response teams, enables secure communication when identity systems or internet access are disrupted, integrates with ADFR and DRET for rapid restoration, and supports forensic analysis to eliminate lingering threats and prevent future attacks. James Bowie, vice president and chief information security officer at Tampa General Hospital, said Ready1’s design makes it valuable beyond cybersecurity incidents. “In any crisis, knowing who your people are, what resources they have, and how to reach them is fundamental,” he said. “Ready1 connects people, processes, and decisions in real time to turn identity management into an operational advantage.”
Semperis CEO Mickey Bresman said the company developed Ready1 based on experience helping clients recover from ransomware and hybrid identity attacks. “When identity systems go down, chaos follows,” he said. “By combining identity recovery and crisis management in a single platform, organizations can maintain order, manage incidents effectively, and restore trusted identity systems quickly.”
Ready1 for Identity Crisis Management is initially available as a zero-cost license for customers using Semperis’ Active Directory Forest Recovery and Disaster Recovery for Entra Tenant solutions, with broader availability planned for early 2026.
Headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, Semperis provides AI-powered protection for hybrid identity environments, including Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta. Its technology safeguards more than 100 million identities across government agencies and major global brands in over 40 countries.
The company also runs several community initiatives, including the Hybrid Identity Protection (HIP) Conference and Podcast, as well as free security tools such as Purple Knight and Forest Druid. Semperis describes its mission as helping organizations build resilience and security in an increasingly complex digital world.
