Meta outage hits Facebook, Instagram and Messenger

More than 4,000 users report problems accessing Meta’s platforms, with complaints including failed logins, frozen feeds and disrupted messaging

Thousands of users around the world, including in Israel, reported disruptions Sunday on Facebook, Instagram and Facebook Messenger, all owned by Meta.
More than 4,000 reports had been submitted to Downdetector, which tracks outages affecting websites and online services.

Users said they were unable to refresh their feeds, send messages, log in or access the platforms altogether.
Meta had not immediately issued a statement on the cause of the outage.
