Users report global outage on Cloudflare, X, Monday.com and AWS

The incident is the latest in a series of high-profile service interruptions affecting major internet platforms; X experienced a similar outage in March 2025

Social media platform X experienced a widespread global outage Monday, with tens of thousands of users reporting disruptions across multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and India.
Outage tracking site Downdetector showed a sharp spike in reports beginning around 13:00 GMT, peaking at more than 25,000 complaints as users said they were unable to load posts or access the platform.

The cause of the disruption was not immediately known. X did not respond to a request for comment.
The incident is the latest in a series of high-profile service interruptions affecting major internet platforms. X experienced a similar outage in March 2025. Similar outages have been reported by users on Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services and Monday.com.
Other technology companies have also faced disruptions in recent months. A Cloudflare service outage last November led to downtime for numerous websites, including X. Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform encountered technical issues last year, and an outage at Amazon Web Services in October disrupted thousands of websites and widely used apps such as Snapchat and Reddit.
