Users around the world, including in Israel, reported disruptions overnight Tuesday on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger, all owned by Meta.
According to users, the problems included difficulty refreshing feeds, loading posts and accessing the platforms. Some reported that the apps were not opening properly, while others said content was failing to update.
Downdetector, which monitors website and online service outages based on user reports, showed over 21,000 reports of problems with Instagram and about 20,000 reports involving Facebook.
Meta has not yet responded to the reports.
The disruptions come less than two weeks after a previous outage affected Facebook, Instagram and Messenger, when users worldwide also reported problems accessing the platforms and refreshing feeds.
