Dan Hotels is offering a 25% discount at its NoMo SoHo property in Manhattan for Israelis stranded in New York and across the United States due to flight cancellations.
The hotel chain, which recently acquired NoMo SoHo in the heart of Manhattan’s SoHo district, said the special rate is intended for Israelis whose flights were canceled or changed and who have been forced to remain in the city.
The benefit is valid upon presentation of an Israeli ID at check-in and applies to bookings and stays through March 9, 2026.
To redeem the benefit, guests must book directly through the hotel’s website at https://www.nomosoho.com/ and enter the promo code SPI25 in the designated field.
The announcement comes as Israeli airlines prepare large-scale rescue operations to bring home citizens once Ben Gurion Airport reopens.
El Al said Monday it is preparing an extensive airlift to return Israelis stranded abroad. Unlike the previous Operation Rising Lion, in which flights operated from only a limited number of airports, the airline said the upcoming effort will depart from a wide range of destinations.
In the first phase, El Al plans to operate rescue flights from its main hubs:
United States: New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
Asia: Bangkok and Phuket.
Europe: Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Milan, Paris, Budapest, Tbilisi, Sofia, Warsaw, Bucharest, Madrid, London, Barcelona, Geneva, Amsterdam, Munich and Zurich.
“El Al will act to return its customers home as quickly as possible,” the airline said in a statement.
Rescue flights for El Al and Sun d’Or passengers whose flights were canceled will be provided at no additional cost. Seats will be offered to the general public only after all affected El Al and Sun d’Or passengers have been accommodated.
The carrier is also examining the possibility of operating flights on aircraft leased from KlasJet, a Lithuanian carrier, to Taba in Egypt or Aqaba in Jordan, pending approval from Israeli security authorities. These flights would depart from nearby European destinations and would also be provided at no additional cost to eligible passengers.
El Al said it is proactively updating customers and publishing real-time information on its website and social media channels.
Arkia announced Sunday that it would operate special flights via the Taba border crossing from Athens, Larnaca and Rome, with one-way fares starting at $359. The flights are intended to allow travelers to reach Israel by crossing by land from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula while Israeli airspace remains closed.
Within hours, however, all available tickets were sold out. Arkia is expected to publish an updated flight schedule later on Monday.
